About Helix

Helix was established in 2010 as a specialist transport planning, traffic and highway engineering consultancy providing professional advice, technical analysis and planning submission documents to both private and public sector clients on a wide range of developments.

We understand that successful development requires a specialist who can analyse the issues in detail, and recommend solutions which are both viable and acceptable to those who make planning decisions.

Our interests lie in good transport outcomes. While predominantly engaged by the private sector to act as advocate for new development, we also work with third parties to challenge poorly conceived or inappropriate development.

Helix specialises in providing transport planning support and advice on all aspects relating to private sector development, but over the years we have also undertaken a number of projects for the public sector to assist with development policy or maximising asset value. We are a flexible team with expertise in all aspects of transportation planning.
